On behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong expressed her joy at welcoming the delegation of the Hai Phong City Party Committee to visit and work in Bac Giang . The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee informed the delegation of some general features of the characteristics, situation, potentials and strengths of Bac Giang province.
He said that in the context of carrying out many important tasks at the same time, Bac Giang province achieved many important and positive results in the first quarter of 2025. The highlight is that the province's economic growth rate is higher than the expected scenario and ranks first in the country. Budget revenue ensures progress and the set plan.
The fields of culture, health, and education continue to receive attention and have many changes. In the national excellent student competition, Bac Giang ranked fourth nationwide, with 99/120 participating students winning prizes, an increase of 13 prizes compared to the previous school year. People's lives have improved; social security policies have received attention, especially policies for people with meritorious services in the area.
Political security and social order and safety are maintained. Administrative reform work is focused on by all levels and sectors in the province, with timely issuance of documents to organize effective implementation...
In recent times, together with other provinces and cities across the country, Bac Giang province has focused on the task of streamlining the organizational structure; implementing the Central Government's policy on reorganizing provincial and communal administrative units; not organizing at the district level. Currently, the province is completing the merger project dossier to submit to the Central Government as soon as possible.
On behalf of the Hai Phong City Party Committee delegation, comrade Nguyen Dinh Chuyen shared his joy with the positive results that Bac Giang province has achieved in recent times. He said that, along with the whole country, Hai Phong has had many encouraging and comprehensive movements in all fields. Economic growth and budget revenue have both reached and exceeded the assigned plan.
Like Bac Giang, Hai Phong is currently focusing on merging administrative units at the commune and provincial levels (Hai Phong and Hai Duong merged into Hai Phong City). Up to now, this task has been effectively implemented by the City, creating consensus among the people.

At the working session, the Head of the Hai Phong City Party Committee's working delegation and the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee expressed their hope that in the coming time, the two localities will continue to have many activities to connect, support, learn, and exchange experiences in Party building, ensuring national defense and security, and socio-economic development for further development.
On this occasion, the delegation of Hai Phong City Party Committee presented the "Gratitude" Fund of Bac Giang province with 500 million VND.
Previously, within the framework of the working trip, the delegation visited, presented gifts, and expressed gratitude to the Party Committee, authorities, and people of the communes of Truong Son, Luc Son (Luc Nam) and Tan Moc (Luc Ngan) - localities that were evacuation sites for the Hai Phong City Party Committee during the resistance war against the French. It is known that this is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day on May 13 (1955-2025).
