- Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the death of comrade Hoang Van Thu (May 24, 1944 - May 24, 2024), on May 3, a delegation from Hoang Mai district, Hanoi city came to offer incense and flowers at the memorial site of comrade Hoang Van Thu in Nhan Hoa village, Hoang Van Thu commune, Van Lang district. Also attending were leaders of the District Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Van Lang district.
Here, the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to express their infinite gratitude for the sacrifice of comrade Hoang Van Thu. 80 years ago, in the early morning of May 24, 1944, at Tuong Mai shooting range, Hanoi city, comrade Hoang Van Thu heroically sacrificed himself in the proud posture of a revolutionary soldier. Over the past years, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Mai district have promoted democracy and the combined strength of the entire political system, the consensus of all classes of people, focused on leading and directing the successful implementation of political tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security, and Party building, creating changes in all areas.
After offering incense and visiting the stilt house of comrade Hoang Van Thu, the delegation of Hoang Mai district, Hanoi city visited and encouraged the staff, teachers and students of Hoang Van Thu Primary School and presented 10 sets of computers to the school with a total value of 170 million VND.
Also in the working program, the delegation visited and worked with Van Lang District Party Committee to exchange and share experiences in leadership and direction in implementing political tasks and developing local economy , society, security and defense.
