On the morning of May 12, Comrade Tran Van Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister and Chairman of the Government Office , and a delegation of Government members conducted a field survey of the CT.08 expressway construction investment project, Nam Dinh - Thai Binh section.

Participating in the survey delegation from Thai Binh province were comrades: Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches and Kien Xuong district.

Comrade Tran Van Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister and Chairman of the Government Office, noted that Thai Binh province needs to have a proactive plan to supply filling materials to serve the project's construction.

The project to invest in the construction of the CT.08 expressway, Nam Dinh - Thai Binh section, passes through the territory of Thai Binh and Nam Dinh provinces; the starting point is adjacent to the Day River overpass in Nghia Hung district (Nam Dinh), the end point ends at the intersection between National Highway 37B and the coastal road in Thai Thuy district (Thai Binh). The scale of investment in the construction of the route is over 60km long, according to the scale of a complete 4-lane expressway, with a roadbed width of over 24m, and a design speed of 120km/h. The form of investment is under the public-private partnership (PPP) method.

At the survey, the provincial leaders reported on the implementation of the CT.08 expressway construction project from Nam Dinh to Thai Binh and clarified the total investment of the project, financial plan, and investment capital structure; Thai Binh province committed to focusing on site clearance when the project is implemented.

After surveying the actual investment project to build the CT.08 expressway from Nam Dinh to Thai Binh, comrade Tran Van Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister and Head of the Government Office, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of Thai Binh province and investors in preparing for this project. The Minister and Head of the Government Office affirmed that the Government and the Prime Minister highly welcomed Thai Binh province, relevant ministries, branches, localities and investors for actively researching and perfecting investment plans; in the context of limited budget capital, it is necessary to study the most feasible and effective plan, suitable for capital balance conditions from now until 2025.

He emphasized the importance of the project and the heavy tasks for Thai Binh province, so the province needs to proactively prepare plans to implement the project, especially site clearance, proactively provide filling materials for the project construction...
