Bac Giang province delegation working in Shenzhen city (China): Always ready to support and accompany investors

(BBG)- Continuing the working trip to Guangdong province (China), on the afternoon of November 21, the working delegation of Bac Giang province led by comrade Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, had a working session with the Association of Enterprises (DN, also known as Chamber of Commerce) of Shenzhen city.

Also attending was Nguyen Viet Dung, Consul General of Vietnam in Guangdong. Receiving and working with the delegation were comrade Khang Vinh Khue, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Chairman of the Shenzhen City Business Federation, members and the Shenzhen City Entrepreneurs Association.

The City Business Association is a non-profit social organization, consisting of member enterprises, industry associations and research institutes of the entire city. Currently, the City Business Association has more than 4,000 participating enterprises. Its motto is to focus on building the city's economy , developing and connecting enterprises, acting as a "bridge" between the government and enterprises, promoting innovation in enterprise management, and actively participating in social charity activities. Some member enterprises are investing and doing business in Vietnam, including Bac Giang province.

Here, the delegates shared, exchanged and answered information about the socio-economic development situation of Bac Giang province, the potential and strengths of the province and investment cooperation opportunities for foreign enterprises in Bac Giang. Among them, many contents that corporations and enterprises in Shenzhen are interested in are the province with the leading economic growth rate in the country, geographical location near China, near the airport and border gate.

There are currently 265 projects of Chinese investors in the area with a total registered capital of about 5.43 billion USD (accounting for nearly 44% of the total registered foreign investment capital in Bac Giang). Mechanisms and policies to support foreign investors, especially Chinese investors, when implementing projects in Bac Giang.

The province hopes that Shenzhen enterprises will pay attention to coordinating and supporting Bac Giang to promote the export of high-quality local agricultural products to the Shenzhen market. Bac Giang always welcomes and commits to accompany, support and create the best conditions for enterprises when they come to invest in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau thanked the Executive Chairman of the City Business Association, members and the City Business Association for taking the time and attention to welcome and work with the delegation of Bac Giang province. He emphasized that there is much potential for cooperation between Bac Giang province and enterprises of Shenzhen city. In recent years, the province has identified a priority strategy to attract investment in future technology industries and fields such as: Solar energy, semiconductor chips, electric vehicles, electronic components and services for these industries. These are areas where Shenzhen enterprises have strengths and can research, survey and implement investment in Bac Giang.

The province hopes to soon welcome investors from Shenzhen, Guangdong province and Chinese investors to explore investment and business cooperation opportunities and share development experiences with Bac Giang province.

Previously, the provincial delegation visited and worked with Sunwoda Group in Shenzhen City. This is one of the world's leading enterprises, specializing in providing comprehensive energy solutions, including Lithium batteries, energy storage products, investment services and glass energy operations. In 2023, the Group established Sunwoda Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Van Trung Industrial Park (Viet Yen), initially operating effectively, planning to expand production and continue to establish a company in Yen Lu Industrial Park (Yen Dung). The products of these enterprises in Bac Giang are batteries for phones, computers, electrical and electronic equipment and electronic circuit boards.
