Delegation of National Assembly deputies of Vinh Phuc province visited the cradle of Vietnam's revolution

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc province, led by comrade Nguyen Van Manh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, had many meaningful activities at the special national relic site of Tan Trao, Tuyen Quang province, the resistance capital, the cradle of the Vietnamese revolution.

The activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc province are even more meaningful in the atmosphere of the whole country jubilantly organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Manh presented 60 million VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Quang province.

The delegation of National Assembly deputies of Vinh Phuc province offered incense at Na Nua hut, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked from the end of May 1945 to August 22, 1945 to prepare for and lead the August 1945 General Uprising; visited Tan Trao Communal House, chosen by Uncle Ho and the Party Central Committee as the place to hold the National Congress on August 16 and 17, 1945.

Here, the Congress approved the Party's policy of carrying out the General Uprising; approved 10 major policies of the Viet Minh; stipulated the national flag and national anthem of Vietnam and elected the Vietnam National Liberation Committee, the provisional government, with Ho Chi Minh as President. Also under the roof of this historic communal house, on behalf of the Vietnam National Liberation Committee, President Ho Chi Minh read the oath at the ceremony of introducing himself to the nation.

The delegation offered incense at the Memorial of Revolutionary Ancestors, a place to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and other revolutionary predecessors, loyal and indomitable communist soldiers who fought all their lives for national independence, national reunification, freedom and happiness of the people. The delegation also visited the National Assembly Standing Committee relic site in Trung Yen commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province. This was the place where the National Assembly Standing Committee and President Ton Duc Thang lived and worked from the end of 1952 to the end of 1954, associated with the formation and development of the Vietnamese National Assembly.

Also during the journey to the source in Tuyen Quang Province, the delegation of National Assembly deputies of Vinh Phuc Province presented 60 million VND to Tuyen Quang Province to build houses for policy households and poor households in the province. The practical activities of the delegation of National Assembly deputies of Vinh Phuc Province are meaningful and practical activities, contributing to expressing gratitude for the great contributions and dedication of President Ho Chi Minh to the Vietnamese revolution as well as the 80-year journey of the Vietnamese National Assembly accompanying the nation in the cause of building and developing a rich and powerful country.
