Dong Nai Province National Assembly Delegation supervises public investment projects

(DN) - On the morning of August 20, the Supervisory Delegation of the National Assembly of Dong Nai province, led by Provincial Party Committee member and Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province, Bui Xuan Thong, had a supervision session on the implementation of policies and laws on management and use of public assets in the province from 2018 to December 31, 2024 at a number of public investment projects and works in the province.

The monitoring delegation included Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Delegation Work Committee, along with provincial National Assembly deputies and representatives of relevant departments and branches.

The provincial National Assembly delegation conducted supervision at the following projects: Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project invested by Dong Nai Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board; surveyed the management and use of headquarters at Dong Nai Medical College; surveyed the headquarters of Dong Nai Provincial Tax Department (old).

During working sessions and field surveys with units, the monitoring delegation noted the difficulties and obstacles of these units in financial management, public investment, and human resource management under actual conditions.

Speaking at the working session with the units, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Bui Xuan Thong said: The monitoring session aims to review and evaluate the implementation of legal policies and public assets during the project implementation process to see if there are any difficulties or problems. On that basis, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will take note and make recommendations to remove difficulties and problems to create a transparent mechanism during the project implementation process.

Mr. Bui Xuan Thong suggested: Units should monitor and review all stages and procedures for bidding for public assets, technical standards... to identify difficulties and problems, thereby finding solutions.
