Delegation of Hai Phong City visited the Temple of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Martyrs in Thanh Hoa Province

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), the delegation of Hai Phong City led by comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City, offered incense and flowers at the Temple of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroic Martyrs (Thanh Hoa City).

The delegation of Hai Phong City also included comrades: Pham Van Lap, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Council; Le Khac Nam, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, and organizations of the city.

Delegates observed a minute of silence in memory of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroic Martyrs.

Welcoming and joining the delegation of Hai Phong City, on the side of Thanh Hoa province, there was comrade Le Tien Lam, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the leaders of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council and Thanh Hoa City.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the leaders of Hai Phong City and Thanh Hoa Province and the members of the delegation observed a minute of silence to express their respect and gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroic Martyrs for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Before the souls of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroic Martyrs, the leaders of Hai Phong City and Thanh Hoa Province vow to always uphold the spirit of solidarity, concentrate intelligence and resources, promote the strength of the entire people, determined to overcome all difficulties and challenges, successfully complete the goals and tasks of socio-economic development, national defense and security set forth in the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels; determined to build the friendship between the two provinces and cities of Hai Phong - Thanh Hoa to develop more and more, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous and civilized Vietnam.

Delegation of Hai Phong city presented money to support the construction of gratitude houses for Thanh Hoa province.

On this occasion, comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Phong City and the working delegation came to present 10 charity houses worth 500 million VND to Thanh Hoa province.

Comrades: Le Tien Lam, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee attended and received the support fund.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Le Tien Lam thanked the Party Committee, government, and people of Hai Phong city for their valuable sentiments and affection, and affirmed that the funding to support the construction of gratitude houses will be used for the right purpose and for the right beneficiaries.
