(NLĐO) - The offering ceremony took place with traditional rituals of the people of Southern Vietnam, contributing to the education of patriotic traditions for the younger generation.
On January 25th (corresponding to the 26th day of the 12th lunar month), a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee performed the rituals of offering sticky rice cakes to the Hung Kings and Duke Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh at the Hung Kings Memorial Temple and the Temple of Duke Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh within the National Historical and Cultural Park (Thu Duc City).

The ceremony of offering sticky rice cakes to the Hung Kings and the offering of incense and flowers to Duke Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh are important annual activities at the Hung Kings Memorial Temple, expressing the gratitude of the people of Ho Chi Minh City to the Hung Kings who contributed to the founding of the nation.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, along with the people, respectfully offered incense and banh tet (traditional Vietnamese rice cakes) to the National Ancestor Hung Vuong; vowing to uphold national traditions to build a prosperous and strong country; and for Ho Chi Minh City to have a high quality of life, be civilized, modern, and compassionate.
