The National Assembly delegation of Ha Nam province met with voters in Tien Thang, Nhan My and Nhan Thinh communes.

Continuing the program of meeting voters before the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly, on the afternoon of April 15, at the cultural house of Tien Thang commune, Ly Nhan district, the delegation of provincial National Assembly deputies including: Comrade Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman of the National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly; Ms. Tran Thi Hien, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Director of Ha Nam Technical Infrastructure Development and Construction Joint Stock Company, Provincial National Assembly deputies had a meeting with voters of the communes: Tien Thang, Nhan My, Nhan Thinh (Ly Nhan). Attending the meeting with voters were representatives of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, socio-political organizations of the province; Provincial People's Council Committees; Office of the Provincial Party Committee, Office of the National Assembly Delegation & People's Council, Office of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Ly Nhan district, Tien Thang commune and local voters.

At the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Hien, representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, informed voters of the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly ; reported on the results of the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation since the 8th Session and the direction and tasks for the coming time; and the results of handling voters' opinions and recommendations at previous voter meetings.

Comrade Nguyen Quoc Hung, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs, received voters' opinions and recommendations.

Expressing their interest in the content and agenda of the session, voters from Tien Thang, Nhan My and Nhan Thinh communes made recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government and central ministries and branches on a number of issues. Specifically, voters from Nhan Thinh commune commented: it is necessary to have a support policy for the team of commune-level officials and civil servants (from 40 to 50 years old) who are the subjects of staff reduction in the coming time to continue paying social insurance; requesting consideration of applying the new Social Insurance Law earlier than July 1, 2025; considering allowing schools to register to organize extra classes at school under the strict management of theEducation sector and pay State taxes according to regulations, creating favorable conditions for students to travel to and from school; repairing and upgrading infrastructure, especially traffic lights and signs on traffic safety, so that people can participate in traffic safely and limit violations due to unsynchronized traffic infrastructure...

Voters of Tien Thang commune have the following opinions: merging communes with appropriate scales to better serve the people, ensuring that when people have to go to the commune People's Committee headquarters to work, they do not have to go too far; creating convenience for people when using records and documents after merging into new administrative units; arranging an ATM network to ensure payment through accounts, especially for the elderly, convenient social protection...

Voters of Nhan My commune have the opinion: The arrangement of textbooks should be shared, with a shelf life of many years, avoiding waste for families and society; propose to issue regulations on licensing, management, inspection, evaluation, and handling of extracurricular tutoring facilities to ensure quality and benefits for learners, facilitate supervision by the people and inspection and examination by management levels...

Comrade Nguyen Quoc Hung, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation, received and responded to the opinions and recommendations of voters within his jurisdiction. Voters' opinions outside his jurisdiction will be compiled and sent to the National Assembly and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution according to regulations. At the same time, he informed voters and people of the socio-economic development results of Ha Nam since the beginning of the year.
