Interdisciplinary delegation inspects smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in Quynh Nhai district

There are currently 370 production and business establishments in Quynh Nhai district. According to records on June 3 and 4, a number of stores along National Highway 6B and National Highway 279 have closed and temporarily suspended operations, causing significant impacts on the exchange of goods serving people's lives. The interdisciplinary inspection team divided into 2 groups to inspect stores along National Highway 6B and 279 from Chieng Khoang commune to Muong Giang town, where many large-scale businesses are operating.

The inspection focuses on products that directly affect consumers' health, including: Medicines, functional foods, milk, rice, cosmetics, fertilizers, pesticides, animal products; control the use of growth stimulants for fruits, excessive use of chemicals to increase weight, prevent dehydration after thawing to deceive about volume, reduce quality.

The inspection aims to carry out the peak of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the district, along with handling violations (if any). At the same time, during the inspection, the delegation also disseminated and guided businesses on compliance with legal regulations, ensuring necessary conditions in trading goods and products directly related to consumers' health.

At stores selling essential foods, groceries, pharmacies, and agricultural supplies, the inspection team checked invoices and import-export documents proving the origin of the products; checked the expiry date, product labels, and proper storage....
