The Ho Dynasty Citadel (Vinh Loc, Thanh Hoa) was built in 1399, under the reign of King Ho Quy Ly. This is a magnificent stone construction, the most unique in Southeast Asia. After 700 years with many impacts of nature, war and humans, the Ho Dynasty Citadel still exists majestically. In 2011, the Ho Dynasty Citadel was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.

In addition to the additional exhibition room of relics and artifacts related to the Ho Dynasty, the excavation and archaeology in the inner city area of the Ho Dynasty Citadel have achieved many important results, contributing to demonstrating the outstanding global value of the Ho Dynasty Citadel World Heritage Site. The artifacts collected from the excavation and archaeology have themselves told the cultural story of many successive dynasties in the history of the existence and development of the Tay Do citadel.

To continue and promote the unchanging values from the excavated artifacts, and at the same time bring those values closer to the community and the public, the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center has put into operation the "outdoor artifact display space", displaying "models of cannons and reforms of the Ho Dynasty", and exploiting the "space for displaying citadel stones" as a new check-in point at the South Gate.

The delegation visited the press agencies and took souvenir photos at the South Gate of Ho Dynasty Citadel.

The Ho Dynasty Citadel is an outstanding example of an architectural complex set in a natural landscape, demonstrating the flourishing of practical Confucianism in Vietnam in the late 14th century, a period when this ideology spread throughout East Asia and became a highly influential philosophy for governance in the region. The use of large stone blocks demonstrates the organizational strength of a neo-Confucian state, shows the exchange of construction techniques in Southeast Asia, and the change in the direction of the main axis makes the design of the Ho Dynasty Citadel different from the Chinese standard.
