Closing and awarding ceremony of the 13th Public Security Arts Festival, 2025

Also attending the ceremony were leaders of central literary and artistic associations, units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of National Defense , Ministry of Public Security, officers, soldiers, artists, actors of the People's Public Security Art Troupes and the People's Army participating in the festival.

The 13th Public Security Art Festival in 2025, organized by the Ministry of Public Security, aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection. The festival was successfully held in 4 regions nationwide with the participation of 83 public security art troupes from units and localities and 4 troupes from the People's Army; 456 performances of 4 art forms (singing, dancing, music, drama).

The performances at the festival praised the Party and beloved Uncle Ho; praised the love for the homeland and country; praised the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Forces in the cause of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland, associated with studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh and implementing the Six Teachings of Uncle Ho to the People's Public Security Forces; praised the spirit of solidarity and unity of the Public Security and Army forces and their close attachment to the people, ready to overcome difficulties, hardships, and sacrifice for the security of the Fatherland, for the peaceful life and happiness of the people...

At the end of the performance in 4 regions, the Standing Office of the Organizing Committee selected 35/92 excellent performances (winning A prizes) to enter the National Final Round. After 2 days of performance at Ho Guom Theater (May 20-21), the Board of Judges evaluated, scored and selected 16 performances winning A prizes, 14 performances winning B prizes and 5 performances winning C prizes.

At the Gala night of the final round of the festival, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Public Security to 4 groups and 12 individuals with outstanding achievements; announced the Decision to award Certificates of Merit to 4 groups and 28 individuals with good achievements in the process of coordinating the organization of the festival. Also at the program, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of Public Security to 92 performances that won A prizes at the festival in 4 regions; announced the awards and awarded Certificates to excellent performances in the final round; awarded Flags to 10 units and localities with "Excellent Art Programs" at the festival; performed 7 most typical performances selected from the festival.

In his closing remarks, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To affirmed that the festival is not only a festival for officers and soldiers working in culture and arts but also a practical activity to encourage officers and soldiers in the entire Public Security force to enthusiastically compete for achievements on the difficult and arduous front of ensuring security and order. The programs and performances participating in the festival aim to build and spread the beautiful image of the Public Security officers and soldiers who are "brave, humane, selfless for the country, serving the people".

Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Permanent Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the festival, awarded prizes to the groups whose performances won first prize in the final round.

People's Artist Nguyen Quang Vinh, Head of the Jury, awarded prizes to the groups whose performances won second prize in the final round.

Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Public Security Communications Department, Director of Public Security Television, presented awards to the groups whose performances won third prize in the final round.

The festival is also an opportunity for officers, soldiers, artists and actors to exchange and learn; expand culture between regions, between the Ministry and the local Public Security, between the People's Public Security Forces and the People's Army; is a place to demonstrate artistic talents, arouse enthusiasm and passion of officers and soldiers in the mass art movement from the Ministry to the grassroots; create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, encourage, motivate and educate officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces to actively strive in their work, practice ethics, lifestyle, improve their personality, contribute to building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern People's Public Security Force, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, acknowledged, commended and congratulated the results and achievements of the mass art troupes, artists and actors at the festival. Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested the Party committees and leaders of the Public Security units and localities to thoroughly implement a number of key tasks to promote the results of the festival, contributing to continuing to bring Resolution 05 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on improving the quality of cultural and artistic work to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Public Security force into depth, bringing about practical results.

Continue to spread the excellent programs and performances participating in the festival to officers and people, especially officers and people in remote areas, ethnic minority areas to strengthen the close relationship between the police and the people, contributing to promoting the movement "All people protect national security".

Maintain and develop the mass cultural and artistic movement in the Public Security of units and localities, especially on the occasion of celebrating major holidays of the country, the Party, the Public Security Forces and units and localities, as well as in the activities of mass organizations. Improve the quality of activities of shock art teams, various types of cultural and artistic clubs, etc. Build a team of officers, soldiers, actors and collaborators participating in this festival to become the core elements in the cultural and artistic movement at the grassroots level.

“With your artistic talent and experience in managing movement activities, you need to advise, guide, organize and strongly arouse the mass art movement towards the grassroots, serving political requirements and tasks; building a healthy cultural life among the officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Forces,” Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested.

The Deputy Minister also requested members of the Organizing Committee and functional units to evaluate and draw lessons to identify advantages, limitations and causes; thereby finding solutions to organize the next CAND mass art performances better and more effectively; synthesizing the results of the performances to report to the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security as a basis for comprehensively evaluating the implementation of Resolution 05 of the Central Public Security Party Committee on improving the quality of cultural and artistic work to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Public Security force in the Public Security.
