Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Delegation Received Big Reward

With impressive performance at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games, the Vietnam People's Public Security (PPP) Sports Delegation was awarded nearly 500 million VND.

On July 8, T&T Group announced a reward of nearly VND500 million for the Vietnam People's Public Security (PPP) Sports Delegation, after the delegation's excellent athletes won a total of 25 medals at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games, held in Birmingham (USA).

Of which, the Public Security Sports Delegation won 15 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 6 bronze medals. The bonus level is calculated for each event, contributing to encouraging the spirit and recognizing the outstanding contributions of the athletes.

Specifically, T&T Group awarded 3,000 USD, 2,000 USD, 1,000 USD respectively to athletes winning gold, silver, bronze medals in team events, and 500 USD, 300 USD, 200 USD respectively for individual events.

Taking place from June 23 to July 7 in Birmingham (Alabama, USA), this year's congress brings together thousands of athletes from more than 70 countries.

In the second time attending the congress, the Vietnam Public Security Sports Delegation competed in many events from high-performance sports to fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) and rescue (CHCN), with thorough preparation and clear strategy.

Some outstanding achievements include: Major Hoang Linh Chi won 4 gold medals in swimming events; shooter Trinh Thu Vinh - who had won a place in the Olympics - contributed 2 gold medals, including 1 individual and 1 team medal in shooting; Lieutenant Ngan Ngoc Nghia won a double gold medal in the 100m and 200m athletics; Karate also made its mark with 3 gold medals and 1 bronze medal.

Trinh Thu Vinh and Ngan Ngoc Nghia are leading athletes of the Vietnamese shooting and athletics teams under the People's Public Security sports sector.

Notably, the Vietnamese Fire Prevention and Rescue team for the first time rose to 4th place in the team category, winning 2 more silver medals – a big step forward in the category requiring specialized skills and modern equipment.
