Through in-depth surveys in many countries, Want Want Group decided to choose Long Giang Industrial Park as the place to build and invest in its first factory abroad. The Group established Want Want Vietnam factory with a total investment of 70 million USD on an area of ^{​​75,000m2} . The main products are rice cakes, drinks, ice cream products, snacks...

Mr. Tham Hong, Deputy General Director of Want Want Vietnam Co., Ltd., said that the company's phase 1 has been completed and put into production. Currently, in addition to sales and production in Vietnam, the company's products are gradually receiving export orders to Europe and the United States. The factory's productivity is gradually increasing. The company believes in the Vietnamese market and continues to invest 30 million USD to supplement the beverage, rice cake and candy production line, which will be put into operation this year. It is estimated that the output value in 2025 can reach 40 million USD, an increase of 60% compared to 2024.

Apache Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. (Long Giang Industrial Park, Tan Phuoc District) specializes in manufacturing leather shoes. The company has been present in Tien Giang Province since 2015, with a total investment capital of about 77 million USD. The total number of employees is currently 9,000 people.

According to the leaders of Apache Vietnam Shoes Company Limited, in recent years, Tien Giang province has made great strides in economic development, attracting investment, upgrading infrastructure and improving the business environment. Thanks to the active support of provincial leaders and functional agencies, the enterprise has had favorable conditions to operate stably, expand production, create more jobs, and contribute to the overall development of the province. Entering the period of 2025 - 2030, the enterprise continues to invest and expand its operations in Tien Giang province. Accordingly, the enterprise will expand its scale, improve production efficiency, enhance product competitiveness and create more jobs. Specifically, the enterprise will increase its production scale by about 300,000 pairs of shoes/year. At the same time, the enterprise will invest in renewable energy, especially solar power systems, to optimize electricity costs and aim for sustainable development. One of the important directions is to strengthen training and recruitment of human resources, actively attracting domestic and foreign experts to transfer technology. The company plans to increase the total number of employees to 14,000 people.

DNP Water Investment Joint Stock Company (DNP Water) has invested and been associated with Tien Giang since 2016. Realizing the potential for socio-economic development of the province, in recent times, DNP Water has invested in Dong Tam Water Plant located in the area. Accordingly, Dong Tam Water Plant continuously improves technology, applies comprehensive digital transformation, and optimizes operations. At the same time, closely coordinates with Tien Giang Water Supply Company Limited (Tiwaco) in water supply for the eastern region of the province. In 2025, Dong Tam Water Plant will complete the renovation work, ensuring safe water supply. Thereby, ensuring an average water generation capacity of 70,000 ^m3 /day and night, and can increase water generation to 85,000 m3/day and night, providing clean water in drought and salinity situations for the eastern region of Tien Giang province.

According to the leader of DNP Water, the company is urgently completing legal procedures to ensure the goal of starting the Dong Tam Water Plant Raw Water Pumping Station project and the transmission pipeline system in the second quarter of 2025 - an inter-provincial project to supply raw water to water plants in the three provinces of Tien Giang, Long An, and Ben Tre . In phase 1, the project has a total investment of ^300,000m3 /day and night, with a total investment of about 1,100 billion VND. It is expected that after completing phase 1 of the project in the first quarter of 2026, it will ensure a source of fresh water for daily life and production to cope with climate change and saltwater intrusion. Phase 2 of the project will be implemented immediately after completing phase 1 with the water exploitation location located in Cai Be (the confluence of Tien River and Cai Coi River). After completing phase 2 (expected before 2030), the project will ensure additional fresh water supply for the entire western region of the province (Cai Lay and Cai Be districts).

According to Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Dung, Deputy General Director of Long Giang Industrial Park Development Company Limited, in the first months of 2025, enterprises in Long Giang Industrial Park have developed production and business quite stably. Currently, the order situation of enterprises is very stable. In particular, the Industrial Park has attracted about 28,000 workers. Enterprises are continuing to expand investment. These are positive signals in the first months of 2025. In 2025, enterprises in Long Giang Industrial Park hope to continue to receive support from authorities at all levels of Tien Giang province to be able to develop production and business smoothly.
