Vietnamese businesses are investing heavily in security.

Accordingly, since the end of 2017, objective data from international security assessment companies have shown that Vietnam is one of the countries with a poor information security index, especially in the business sector, in the context that a cyber attack can cost a large enterprise 1 billion USD. Therefore, in 2018, Kaspersky Lab has proactively focused on this customer group.

In fact, in 2018, organizations and businesses in Vietnam faced many targeted attacks, especially in the financial sector. Vietnam is often in the top 10 countries suffering from cyber attacks and dangerous malware infections.

Particularly for industrial organizations such as factories and production lines, Vietnam ranked first with a rate of up to 9.8%, far behind the next ranked countries.

These statistics continue to make IT directors concerned about security, and CEOs feel the threat to the reputation and business operations of the entire organization.

Proportional to the level of investment in security of Vietnamese enterprises, Kaspersky Lab's revenue in the B2B segment grew by more than 200% in 2018. In particular, security products and services for the financial - banking sector and multi-industry corporations such as solutions to prevent APT targeted attacks, IoT security, security expert training, etc. grew by more than 400%.

Also in 2018, Kaspersky Lab was honored to be the security consulting unit supporting information security drills, coordinating with the Government Cipher Committee to ensure network security at central agencies.
