The exhibition on Vietnamese insects is organized based on the strengths of insect research of Dalat University and Duy Tan University. Both universities have diverse and unique insect collections, associated with the dedication of scientists in researching, collecting and preserving over many years.

To obtain this rich collection of insects, scientists from Dalat University and Duy Tan University traveled throughout the forests of Vietnam, thoroughly understanding the habits, characteristics, and morphology of insect species. Many rare and unique insect species found only in dense forests and high mountains of Vietnam were discovered, collected, and preserved by the entomology research team.
150 photos and posters at the exhibition provided the most vivid visual learning opportunity for people to gain a deeper understanding of insects in Vietnam. The exhibition also introduced applications of insects in life in medicine, food, art, biotechnology; integrated messages about climate change, pollution or factors affecting insect populations; spread and raise people's awareness in protecting nature and biodiversity.

The highlight of the Vietnam insect exhibition is the diverse collection of more than 200 species of butterflies and moths with different sizes, shapes and colors. Rare specimens of forest dragonflies include Duy Tan dragonfly (Coeliccia duytan) - currently only discovered in Chu Mom Ray National Park, Kon Tum province; Le Cong Co dragonfly (Coeliccia lecongcoi) - an endemic species only recorded in Ngoc Linh (Kon Tum) and Kon Ka Kinh National Park ( Gia Lai ).
Collection of giant beetles, typically the three-horned scarab (Chalcosoma caucasus), the five-horned scarab (Eupatorus gracilicornis), or the flying crab (Cheirotonus jansoni).
The exhibition also introduces to the public a collection of other unique insects such as stick insects, praying mantises, grasshoppers, cicadas, etc.
