Continuing the journey of nearly 80 years of information and propaganda work serving the Vietnamese National Assembly , entering the era of digital transformation and comprehensive integration, in the Vietnamese revolutionary press system, the People's Representative Newspaper has a solid position and is constantly maturing quite comprehensively. .

But, in the new context, facing the new development requirements of the National Assembly and elected bodies, what will the People's Representative Newspaper continue to do and how will it do it, to be worthy of the trust of the National Assembly, voters, the love of readers and the entrustment of the People, hoping to contribute to realizing the goal of building a digital National Assembly, a digital National Assembly Office and a digital Government . This is something that I always worry about and seek solutions for. .

Looking at the overall period of 2020-2025, it can be said that: The Newspaper's information and propaganda work on the activities of the National Assembly and important matters related to the National Assembly has changed positively and importantly:

Firstly, the quality of information content and political commentary is constantly improved. The Editorial Board and I proactively build, organize and launch a series of articles, commenting deeply on legislative activities, supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country. Reform columns, promptly and truthfully reflect the voice of voters to the National Assembly and from the National Assembly to the people.

Second, proactively exploit digital platforms, innovate diverse and vivid forms of propaganda. Determining that digital transformation is inevitable in the era of growth, the digital era, I focus on investing in innovation of interfaces, systems of categories and on digital platforms (YouTube, Fanpage, TikTok, Viber, Zalo...); at the same time, synchronously and effectively deploy multimedia communication products, such as videos , infographics, emagazines... which have attracted an increasingly diverse and large number of readers. .

Third, through practice, the team of cadres, reporters and editors has increasingly matured comprehensively , especially in handling parliamentary communications. The press team both works independently and proactively connects internally and the national press system in a modern and effective manner on multiple platforms. .

However, in the face of new challenges and requirements, I see some limitations such as: The synchronous digital media ecosystem has not been completed; the editorial management technology is still scattered, not meeting the requirements of data integration and connectivity. The human resources for multimedia content production, big data mining and artificial intelligence application are both lacking and limited in many aspects. Besides, in the context of strong and complex social network development, the competition in terms of speed and form of expression still faces many difficulties. .

To meet the requirements of developing the Digital National Assembly and the Digital National Assembly Office, as the head, I have the following directions and solutions:

About orientation:

Firstly, build a converged, multi-platform newsroom model. Modernize information technology infrastructure, deploy advanced CMS systems, centralized management, ensure data safety and security. Connect and share data with the National Assembly Office, serving real-time parliamentary information work. Form multimedia content production centers: printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, television, social networks, podcasts .

Second, innovate content and improve the quality of propaganda. Focus on analyzing, explaining policies and inspiring action, instead of just stopping at reporting events. Develop key topics on legislation, supervision, and deciding on important issues of the country, related to voters' lives. Promote the production of modern digital products: infographics, longform, podcasts, 360 videos, live streaming directly from the parliament. Develop English and bilingual news bulletins, raising the position of the Vietnamese National Assembly in the international arena. .

Third, develop a team of journalists in the digital age. Organize training programs, specialized training in digital technology, big data, and modern content production skills. Second, innovate the propaganda approach: Shift from "communication" to "interaction" in the direction of listening and responding. Use artificial intelligence and big data to forecast public opinion, the fastest and most accurate information. .
