To participate in this year’s festival, the Center selected 26 children from the Model Ceremony Team. They have undergone many intensive training sessions since May, with specialized contents such as: moving formation, performing trumpets and drums, flag-saluting ceremonies, practicing command style, etc. In particular, the performance program at the festival was elaborately staged with the theme “You are the young shoot of the Party”, including many outstanding works: Anti-fascist anthem, Lao Cai remembers Uncle Ho, Echo of our trumpet, New festival drum, Festival day xoe dance, etc.
The training team includes experienced military musicians from the Hanoi Military Band such as Lieutenant Colonel Bui Tuan Anh and Senior Lieutenant Colonel Mac Dang Thanh. The training sessions are organized seriously and flexibly, combining skill training and nurturing team spirit, instilling pride in being part of the ceremonial team.
The “Our Team’s Trumpet Sound” Festival is a meaningful playground, not only contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural values of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team but also an opportunity for Lao Cai children to exchange, learn and affirm the dynamism and creativity of the young generation on the journey of training and growing up.
