The opponent of Huynh Nhu and her teammates is the home team Wuhan Jiangda.
To prepare for this important match, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club brought 34 members, including 2 officials, 9 coaching staff members and 21/23 players. After the women's futsal team stopped in the quarterfinals after losing to Japan, Thuy Trang and K'Thua did not return home but traveled directly from Inner Mongolia to Wuhan to join the club.
Huynh Nhu and teammates arrived in China on the afternoon of May 18.
While waiting for the team, both of them practiced according to the individual training plan planned by the club's coaching staff to maintain their best physical strength and form before the important match with Wuhan Jiangda.
Regarding coaching, head coach Lu Dinh Tuan will take on the official coaching role in the semi-finals, meeting the AFC's requirements for a Pro certificate, the highest coaching level in the AFC system.
Meanwhile, Coach Kim Chi will be registered as an assistant coach because she does not have a certificate that meets the requirements from AFC.
In the group stage as well as the quarter-finals, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club appointed Coach Nguyen Hong Pham as head coach. However, in this semi-final round, Coach Hong Pham could not accompany the team.
