Before leaving for Laos, coach Kim Sang-sik's team had their last training session at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ). At present, the Vietnamese team has a strong force, including the return of naturalized striker Nguyen Xuan Son.

Xuan Son and his Vietnamese teammates prepare to board the flight to Laos on the morning of November 15.
Assessing the preparation process, captain Do Duy Manh said: "The team's atmosphere is very good at the moment. We have just gone through a stressful period of competition in the V-League, but the coaching staff has made reasonable adjustments so that the players can reach their peak performance before the rematch with the Laos team. The whole team is highly focused and ready for the upcoming match."
When asked about the pressure to win convincingly, the 29-year-old central defender affirmed that the whole team always aims for the winning spirit but is not subjective. Duy Manh emphasized: "The ball has not rolled yet, so we cannot say anything in advance, but we always have the goal of winning. The players all practice enthusiastically, strictly following the coach's tactics. Whoever is given the opportunity will try to perform their best. If we have a big win, it will definitely be a joy for everyone, especially the fans."

... all highly appreciate the ability of teammate Nguyen Xuan Son
Sharing about his teammate Nguyen Xuan Son, Duy Manh added: "Xuan Son is a good striker, with good scoring ability. Son and I often talk and encourage each other during training. He is very professional and always shows his desire to contribute to the Vietnam team."
The Hanoi FC midfielder also revealed that Xuan Son misses the most the feeling of being on the field. "For a player, having to leave the field is a terrible thing. Therefore, in every training session, we can clearly see Son's longing and determination to return to play through his relentless training efforts" - Duy Manh shared.
After arriving in Laos, Mr. Kim Sang-sik and his team will have 4 days of training in Vientiane, before entering the match with the home team on November 19. In the first leg at Go Dau Stadium (formerly Binh Duong ), the Vietnamese team won 5-0.
