The 2025 Asian Women’s Futsal Championship will take place from May 6-17 in Inner Mongolia (China), with the participation of 12 leading teams in the region. In this year’s tournament, the Vietnamese women’s futsal team is in Group B, along with the teams: Iran, Hong Kong (China) and the Philippines.

Before entering the 2025 Asian Women's Futsal Championship, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang's players had friendly matches. In which, Vietnam lost to the Japanese women's futsal team with a score of 1-4 and drew with the Chinese women's futsal team with a score of 2-2. These matches helped Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang assess the expertise, tactics and experience to make adjustments before the match.

In theory, being in one of the top two positions in the table is not too far-fetched after what the Vietnamese women's futsal team has shown in the past 2 years. To aim for the world stage, the Vietnamese women's futsal team must first pass the group stage and enter the Top 3 of the 2025 Asian women's futsal finals. Currently, Iran is the most formidable opponent of the Vietnamese women's futsal team when this team has won the double championship in the last 2 times of organization and is a candidate for the top spot in Group B.

According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will meet Iran in the final match, so coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team must win the first two matches against the Hong Kong (China) women's futsal team and the Philippines women's futsal team to have any hope of advancing to the next round. According to experts, the Vietnamese women's futsal team is rated higher than its opponents Hong Kong and the Philippines. However, on the opening day, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang's students must not be subjective and need to show good mentality.

In the 2025 FIFA Women's Futsal World Cup finals, the Asian region has 4 places to participate. The Philippines is the host country, in case this team is eliminated from the 2025 Asian Women's Semi-finals, the 3 teams with the best results in the tournament including: 2 teams in the finals and 1 team winning the 3rd place match will win tickets to the World Cup. Therefore, the goal of the Vietnamese women's futsal team is to be in the Top 3 strongest teams in this tournament.
