That same morning, the players were given exercises by fitness expert Jose Brandi Regato Neto to restore their physical condition and refresh their spirit after the long journey from Hanoi to Hangzhou.
Therefore, when entering the afternoon practice session, the players were very excited to immerse themselves in the airy space of Zhejiang University of Finance & Economics East Athletics Stadium.
Although the stadium belongs to a university in Hangzhou, the quality of the grass and the spacious functional room system are considered fully suitable for organizing an Asian youth tournament.
The temperature in Hangzhou ranges from 24 to 33 degrees Celsius, making it ideal for outdoor training and competition. The temperature is similar to Vietnam, so players do not need time to adapt.
Head coach Hoang Anh Tuan is very pleased that he and his students are enjoying very favorable conditions.
He said: "Yesterday, we had a long journey, a bit tired. But when we arrived in Hangzhou, we were warmly welcomed. The hotel where the team was stationed was very good, the rooms were clean, like a 5-star hotel.
In particular, the team's meals were quite delicious and to the taste. From morning until now, the team has resumed its activities according to the team's schedule.
This morning we had a training session in the GYM, for the players to recover and reduce the fatigue from yesterday's travel. This afternoon, the team had their first training session on the field to prepare for the first match with Mongolia."

Because it took a whole day to travel from Hanoi to Hangzhou, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team actually only had 2 practice sessions to prepare for the opening match in Group B.
Sharing about this, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan said: "Actually, with such a time frame, we cannot do everything. We have anticipated the problem. We need to adjust what first, what later.
It is very important to bring the players back to a state of fitness to prepare for the match. Second, the players must have good spirit. I see that the Vietnamese players have both of these things. The spirit is very comfortable and excited. The players' health is in good condition, ready for the challenges."
In Group B of the 19th ASIAD men's football, the Vietnamese Olympic team will face Mongolia, Iran and Saudi Arabia. The first match against Mongolia is considered a very important match for coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team.
In addition to creating a favorable start, a victory will help the Vietnamese Olympic team maintain competitiveness compared to the other two opponents.
Sharing about the preparation for this match, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan said: "In addition to professional issues, we have to prepare the players mentally. Psychologically, we did not just prepare here. We have prepared from previous tournaments, since entering the 2023 Southeast Asian U23 tournament.
On the other hand, players who are selected for the national team or compete in the 2024 U23 Asian qualifiers have also gained experience and are ready for the 19th ASIAD. We just need to remind the players to clearly understand the nature and meaning of this tournament."
