Simplify nearly 800 administrative procedures based on data from January 1, 2026

QNgTV- The Government has just issued Resolution No. 66.7/2025/NQ-CP regulating the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures based on data, effective from January 1, 2026.

Accordingly, many types of documents will be replaced by directly exploiting information from national databases.

Specifically, data on the National Population Database will replace the Identity Card, Citizen Identification Card and residence information. The electronic civil status database will replace documents such as Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, confirmation of marital status and Death Certificate.

Information on the Insurance Database replaces the Health Insurance Card and Social Insurance Book; driver's license data replaces the paper driver's license. In addition, information on the National Land Database will also be used instead of the Certificate of Land Use Rights and Property Attached to Land.

The resolution is expected to shorten procedure processing time and create maximum convenience for people and businesses.
