Welcoming more than 4,700 international cruise ship visitors

On November 12, Ha Long International Passenger Port welcomed two cruise ships, Noordam and Celebrity Solsitce, bringing more than 4,700 international tourists to Quang Ninh.

The Noordam cruises from Hong Kong (China) to Singapore; while the Celebrity Solstice cruises from Singapore to Hong Kong (China).

According to the itinerary, both ships passed through 4 points in Vietnam: Ha Long; Da Nang; Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.

Cruise ships Noordam and Celebrity Solstice arrived at Ha Long International Passenger Port at 8:00 and 10:00 this morning (November 12), respectively.

On the morning of November 12, both Noordam and Celebrity Solstice docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port, bringing more than 4,700 international tourists to Quang Ninh , mainly European and American tourists.

Of these, 1,897 are on the Noordam and 2,805 are on the Celebrity Solstice. These tourists will visit Ha Long Bay, take a city tour to explore local culture and cuisine, etc. Then, the two ships will take these tourists away from Ha Long tomorrow evening (November 13).

It is expected that from now until the end of 2024, Ha Long International Passenger Port will welcome about 10 large cruise ships from world-famous corporations and brands such as: Mein Schiff 6, Celebrity Solstice, ... bringing tens of thousands of international tourists to Quang Ninh.

Quang Ninh province is considered by international cruise lines to be a destination with great competitive advantages in the cruise tourism market share in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, thanks to its World Heritage - Natural Wonder of the World Ha Long Bay, unique experiences of culture and local cuisine.

In particular, Quang Ninh is currently the first and only locality in Vietnam to have Ha Long International Passenger Port - a specialized passenger port for tourism, capable of receiving many large-scale international ships at the same time.
