In 2023, the Army Academy was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense for its excellent and comprehensive completion of all aspects of work, outstanding in the 2023 Emulation Movement for the Victory of the Whole Army, contributing to the cause of building the army, strengthening national defense and protecting the Fatherland.

Major General Nguyen Cong Son - Deputy Commissar of the Army Academy, said: The emulation movement "Determined to Win" of the Academy is always closely linked with major campaigns of all levels and sectors such as: Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers"; "Managing and exploiting good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment"; "Building and managing regular, green, clean and beautiful barracks"... has created a vibrant and widespread emulation atmosphere in the Academy, thereby achieving high results in the emulation contents and targets.

Specifically, in the emulation to build a comprehensively strong unit, 100% of officers and soldiers have a firm political stance, peace of mind, a clear sense of duty, a spirit of solidarity and high determination. In addition, the Academy also promotes coordinated propaganda activities, mass mobilization work, and twinning with local Party committees, authorities and people in the area. Strictly implement Directive No. 79 of the Minister of National Defense on building a comprehensively strong unit "Exemplary, typical". There are no cases of serious violations of the law or discipline. Strictly maintain the daily and weekly regimes, command duty, duty, combat duty, and professional duty regimes; organize patrols and guards; strictly manage and effectively use defense land. Well implement defense inspection, defense foreign affairs, and military administrative reform. Logistics, technical and financial work is ensured for all sudden and regular activities of the Academy.

In carrying out the central political task, the Academy has deployed the project "Academy Development Planning to 2030, vision to 2045" and built a Digital Academy as a model for the Ministry of National Defense to ensure science and practicality. Lead and direct the development of 24 training program output standards for trainees, build 13 new training framework programs according to positions to ensure quality. Implement the Academy's digital transformation plan for the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030; research and implement modern teaching methods. Implement well the plans, programs, and contentsof education and training. Actively and effectively apply information technology to teaching, learning, practice, and drills. Training facilities are supplemented; Lecture halls, classrooms, and offices continue to be equipped with many modern devices, increasingly meeting the tasks of education and training, contributing to the construction of a digital Academy and a smart school. In 2023, the Academy admitted 1,516 students (including 1,142 domestic students and 74 international students). Organized 4 drills and 35 training sessions for students. Provided national defense and security knowledge training for 75 comrades; organized exams and considered excellent lecturers for 25 lecturers; assigned 24 thesis topics, 72 doctoral topics, 67 thesis topics to students; awarded master's degrees to 63 graduate students, recognized academic degrees and awarded doctoral degrees to 23 graduate students...

During the year, the Academy has also actively researched and compiled topics, subjects, textbooks, documents, organized acceptance and put them into effective use. Notably, there is 1 ministerial-level topic and 2 industry-level topics that have been accepted and evaluated as excellent. Currently, the Academy is researching and compiling 2 topics at the General Staff level, 2 topics at the General Department of Logistics level and compiling outlines as well as other topics for training projects in the army. In addition, the Academy has also proactively invited experts, leaders and commanders of agencies and units throughout the army to introduce topics, provide new and valuable information, contributing to orienting ideology and raising awareness for cadres, lecturers and students. Expanding cooperation and linking information with units inside and outside the army; creating diverse and multi-dimensional sources of information, providing timely and accurate military scientific information.

In implementing PTTĐ, the Academy has had many creative and effective models contributing to the successful implementation of the unit's tasks such as: "Safety, friendliness" model, "Golden book of achievements" (Political Department), "Core lecturer", "Sample lecture" (Faculty of Marxism - Leninism, Ho Chi Minh thought), "5 best in serving the drill" (Training Assurance Center/Training Department), "Youth flower garden" (Logistics - Technical Department)...

In addition, the Academy has also implemented the military rear policy well, regularly organizing activities to visit and give gifts on holidays and Tet to policy beneficiaries, poor households, and families in difficult circumstances; implementing the ethics of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", and the spirit of "Mutual love" in the Academy and in the military area. Officers and soldiers of the Academy have also actively implemented the campaigns "The Army joins hands to build new countryside"; "The Army joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" through conducting 5 field trips to do mass mobilization work in Ward 12 (Da Lat City); Da Tong Commune (Dam Rong District); Da Chais Commune (Lac Duong District); Hoai Duc Commune and Dinh Van Town (Lam Ha District). Built 6 houses of Gratitude, Great Solidarity, and Comradeship... to strengthen the relationship between the army and the people and contribute to promoting socio-economic development and ensuring political security in the area.

The effective implementation of the PTTĐs contributes to helping the Army Academy successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and Army, building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Academy, a comprehensively strong Academy "Exemplary, typical". That is also an important foundation for the Army Academy to continue to successfully implement the goals and tasks set in 2024.
