On July 6, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Ky, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, received Mr. Hun Many, General Secretary of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Deputy Prime Minister , Minister of Public Works, Chairman of the Cambodian Youth Union, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

Welcoming Mr. Hun Many, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Ky, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed his joy and emphasized: Thoroughly understanding the common perception of the two countries with the 16 golden words "good neighbors, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation, long-term sustainability", Quang Ninh attaches great importance to and regularly implements cooperation exchange activities with high-level delegations and localities of Cambodia in economic and tourism connections. In particular, the province has promoted education for the young generation and local youth to gain a deeper understanding and further develop the friendship and good traditions between the two countries.

Introducing the province's potential and strengths, he affirmed: Quang Ninh is located in a favorable geographical position, a regional connection center, inter-regional and international goods transit; is the only locality in the country that shares both land and sea borders with China; possesses synchronous and modern infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure including airports, highways and international ports.

The province is one of the leading localities in terms of development speed in the country, with an attractive business investment environment, modern administration, sustainable local governance with 7 consecutive years leading PCI, a destination for domestic and international investors. GRDP per capita by the end of 2024 is expected to exceed 10,000 USD, one of the highest localities in the North.

To achieve the results we have today, in addition to the efforts of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the resources of the people are very important. The province identifies the people as the subject, center, goal, and destination of the development process. In particular, the people's trust in the province is very high, reaching over 97% in 2023. To promote these valuable resources, the province has implemented mass mobilization work effectively, synchronously, and in the right direction, focusing on solving 3 core issues of the people's interests: people's livelihood, people's knowledge, and democracy...

Expressing his joy at the warm welcome of Quang Ninh province, Secretary General of the Committee for Mass Mobilization, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Public Works, President of the Cambodian Youth Federation, Mr. Hun Many congratulated the province on its many outstanding achievements in recent times. At the same time, he highly appreciated the natural landscape, environment, bright - green - clean - beautiful urban areas, modern and synchronous infrastructure of the province. In particular, the people's lives are vibrant, convenient and happy. Many high-level indicators clearly demonstrate the efforts of Party committees and authorities at all levels with a clear, methodical and scientific strategic vision in investment and development.
