Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan was elected Chairman of the People's Council of Bo Trach district.

(QBĐT) - This afternoon, April 17, the People's Council of Bo Trach district, term XIX, 2021-2026, held its 13th session (special session). Attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Department of Home Affairs.

Bo Trach district leaders presented flowers to congratulate comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan.

At the meeting, the People's Council of Bo Trach district approved the report and resolution on the dismissal of comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Bo Trach district for the 2021-2026 term (due to accepting a new job).

Bo Trach District People's Council also approved the proposal on the introduction of candidates for the election of the Chairman of the District People's Council for the 19th term, 2021-2026 term. Pursuant to Notice No. 1195-TB/TU dated April 12, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the introduction of candidates for election to the position of District Party Committee Secretary, term 2020-2025, Chairman of Bo Trach District People's Council, term 2021-2026 and related regulations, the Standing Committee of Bo Trach District People's Council introduces comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Secretary of Bo Trach District Party Committee, term 2020-2025, for the District People's Council to elect the position of Chairman of the District People's Council for the 19th term, 2021-2026 term.

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan gave a speech accepting the assignment.

The district People's Council delegates voted to collect opinions, agreed on the recommended personnel and conducted a secret ballot. As a result, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, Secretary of Bo Trach District Party Committee, was elected as Chairman of Bo Trach District People's Council, term XIX, 2021-2026, with 100% of the votes in favor.

In his acceptance speech, comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tuan expressed his respect and gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the District Party Committee Standing Committee and the Bo Trach District People's Council delegates for their trust and responsibility. With responsibility before the Party Committee, the government and voters of the district, in his new position, he promised to try his best, stick to the reality, be close to the grassroots, be closely connected with the people, constantly learn from the experiences of previous leaders, and unite with the District People's Council Standing Committee to complete all tasks in the best way possible.
