Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai holds the position of Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of January 17, the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee held an expanded meeting of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee to announce the Politburo's decisions on personnel work. Attending the meeting were comrades: Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee; Do Trong Hung - Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee.

At the conference, authorized by the Politburo, comrade Do Trong Hung announced Decision No. 1821-QDNS/TW dated January 17, 2025 of the Politburo on the transfer and appointment of comrade Nguyen Tien Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ca Mau province to cease participating in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and at the same time cease holding the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The Politburo decided to transfer, assign and appoint comrade Nguyen Tien Hai to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

On the same day, in Can Tho City, comrade Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision to comrade Do Thanh Binh - member of the Party Central Committee, to cease participating in the Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and to cease holding the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. The Politburo also decided to transfer, assign and appoint comrade Do Thanh Binh to participate in the Party Executive Committee, the City Party Standing Committee and to hold the position of Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

In his speech, comrade Le Minh Hung emphasized that comrade Nguyen Tien Hai is a cadre with solid political qualities, has received basic training and has held many important leadership positions. The Politburo believes that with his capacity and experience, comrade Nguyen Tien Hai will excellently fulfill his duties as Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, and hopes that he will quickly approach the work, and together with the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, successfully lead the implementation of the goals and tasks set out by the Kien Giang Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

Comrade Le Minh Hung also requested comrades in the Executive Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee to make efforts to coordinate with Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai to fulfill assigned tasks well, bringing Kien Giang to develop even more strongly in the coming time.

Comrade Le Minh Hung also highly appreciated the socio-economic achievements that Kien Giang province has achieved in recent times, including the great contribution of Comrade Do Thanh Binh - former Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee. Comrade Le Minh Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of Comrade Do Thanh Binh during the past time and congratulated him on his new position in Can Tho City.

In his acceptance speech, Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai expressed his honor to be assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee. Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai pledged to do his best, together with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, to maintain solidarity and unity, promote collective intelligence, courage, creativity, and strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai promised to work with the entire political system in Kien Giang province to successfully implement the Party's resolutions, strive to develop Kien Giang province strongly, and affirm its position in the region and the whole country.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai was born in 1965, hometown is Ca Mau City (Ca Mau); political theory qualification is Bachelor and professional qualification is Master of Public Administration Management.
