New Secretary of Can Tho City Party Committee Do Thanh Binh is from Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau. He is currently a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, term 2021-2026. He has a master's degree in economics and has held positions such as Secretary of Vinh Thuan District Party Committee (Kien Giang), Head of the Organization Board of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman and then Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee... In October 2020, he was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee.

The new Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Nguyen Van Hieu, is from Binh Dinh Province. He has a master's degree in educational management, a bachelor's degree in law, and a bachelor's degree in administration. In January 2016, Mr. Hieu was elected as an alternate member of the Party Central Committee. Previously, he held the positions of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, Secretary of the District 2 Party Committee; Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, and Secretary of the District 5 Party Committee since May 2020. From January 2021, Mr. Hieu was transferred to be Secretary of the Thu Duc City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. In June 2022, he was elected as Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. In May 2023, Mr. Hieu was transferred and appointed by the Politburo to be Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee.
