Speaking at the meeting, comrade Lai Xuan Mon highly appreciated the results that the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee has achieved in Party building in terms of politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda work over the past half term.
He suggested that in the coming time, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee should continue to promote the work of Party building and rectification and the political system; effectively implement Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW of the Central Executive Committee in conjunction with implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, and regulations on setting an example. In particular, it is necessary to raise awareness, political consciousness, political mettle, political responsibility and political decision-making for leaders to overcome the situation of cadres and party members pushing, avoiding, and being afraid of making mistakes. From there, create confidence for cadres to dare to think, dare to do, and dare to take responsibility for the common good.
He also requested Dong Nai to continue to innovate methods, improve the quality and effectiveness of research, study, dissemination, propaganda and implementation of the Party's resolutions, directives, conclusions and regulations to cadres and party members. Grasp the ideology and public opinion of cadres and party members, create unity within the Party and social consensus.
Comrade Lai Xuan Mon said that, with the characteristics of a province with many industrial parks and a large number of workers, Dong Nai province needs to pay more attention and care for the lives of workers, proactively grasp and orient public opinion, and have timely and satisfactory solutions to arising problems. At the same time, the locality also needs to summarize a number of theoretical and practical issues over 40 years of implementing the socialist-oriented renovation policy in Dong Nai, contributing to the development of the content of the documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the 12th Provincial Party Congress.
Reporting to the working delegation, the Standing Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee said that since the beginning of the term, the research, study, dissemination, and implementation of the Party's resolutions, directives, conclusions, and regulations have had many innovations, with many diverse and rich forms throughout the political system from the province to the grassroots, ensuring "easy to understand, easy to remember, easy to do"; quickly and effectively putting the Party's resolutions into practice.
Thanks to timely and appropriate direction, in the past half term, Dong Nai province has achieved and exceeded 15/16 targets. The average income per capita is expected to reach about 145 million VND by the end of 2023. Budget revenue for the 2021-2023 period is estimated at about 194 trillion VND, reaching 118% of the assigned estimate. The whole province has 96/120 communes meeting advanced new rural standards.
Regarding the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, the fight against erroneous and hostile viewpoints has been carried out in an increasingly systematic and effective manner. Over the past 5 years, the provincial authorities have promptly detected, handled, and prevented 94 cases; criminally prosecuted 9 subjects; administratively violated 94 subjects; questioned and deterred 144 cases./.
