This team is responsible for working with village/hamlet health workers and collaborators of other programs in the area to propagate and mobilize people on population work, disease prevention and hygiene, and primary health care for people in the management area; directly propagandize, mobilize, and provide population counseling to people in the area. At the same time, provide condoms and contraceptive pills to each household according to regulations; carry out marketing, social marketing, and socialize reproductive health care products, family planning, and population services according to regulations.
Population collaborators also check and monitor the implementation of population contents of households in the management area; implement the initial recording regime, collect data, make periodic and ad hoc reports on population according to current regulations; provide data to commune-level health stations, create diagrams and charts, manage the number of households on population in the management area; detect and propose to commune-level population monitoring officers and officers of commune-level health stations issues that need to be implemented on population in the management area...
To encourage the population collaborators to work with peace of mind, Dong Nai (old) and Binh Phuoc (old) provinces both have resolutions stipulating monthly allowances for population collaborators from 350,000 VND to 585,000 VND/person/month.
To unify the level of compensation for population collaborators after the province's merger, the Department of Health has consulted on drafting a Resolution regulating the monthly compensation level for population collaborators in Dong Nai province.
Accordingly, population collaborators in villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods in ethnic minority, mountainous, and border areas are expected to receive a stipend of 700,000 VND/person/month; population collaborators in villages, hamlets, and neighborhoods in the remaining areas will receive a stipend of 500,000 VND/person/month. Funding for implementation will come from the state budget.
