Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project needs more than 3.4 million m3 of fill

According to the Thang Long Project Management Board (Ministry of Construction), for the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project, the demand for fill soil for construction is more than 3.4 million m3. Of which, nearly 3.2 million m3 of K95 fill soil and nearly 252 thousand m3 of K98 fill soil are needed.

In addition, the project also has a demand for various types of sand (filling sand and construction sand) with more than 920 thousand m3; aggregate stone (grade 1 and grade 2 crushed stone) nearly 513 thousand ^m3 .

Thang Long Project Management Board said that the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project is subject to a special mechanism on the exploitation of minerals for common construction materials according to Resolution No. 106/2023/QH15 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of special policies on investment in road construction. Therefore, Thang Long Project Management Board has requested provincial agencies to support investors in granting licenses for the exploitation of common construction material mines for project construction.

As planned, the Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project will start construction in August 2025.
