Reviewing the work to be done to break ground on Ma Da bridge on September 1

(DN) - On May 29, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha chaired a meeting with relevant units to listen to reports on the progress of investment procedures for 7 projects including: Ma Da Bridge; New political - administrative center of the province; elevated road along National Highway 51; Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City; social housing in Tam Phuoc Resettlement Area, Bien Hoa City; underground pipeline supplying fuel to Long Thanh International Airport and Long Thanh Water Highway.

At the meeting, representatives of the provincial authorities reported on the progress of project implementation. In particular, for the Ma Da Bridge Construction Project, the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board proposed that the Provincial People's Committee consider and approve the project investment policy in 2025 to facilitate the implementation of the next steps. Along with that, the Department of Finance was assigned to carry out procedures to adjust and supplement the new planning of Provincial Road 761 from Ma Da Bridge to the intersection with Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City. For the remaining projects, the assigned units are implementing the work of adjusting the planning, proposing investment forms, preparing and submitting for approval of investment policies, etc.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha assigned the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board to make a list of tasks to be done to ensure sufficient conditions for groundbreaking the construction of Ma Da bridge on September 1.

For the project to build the province's new political and administrative center, the Department of Construction and relevant units will urgently adjust the relevant planning, propose investment forms, organize architectural design competitions, and strive to submit the project investment policy by July 11.

For the Elevated Road Project along Highway 51, the province has "finalized" the plan to start construction on December 19, therefore, the authorities urgently conducted bidding to select investors.

For the remaining projects including: Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City; social housing in Tam Phuoc Resettlement Area, Bien Hoa City; underground fuel pipeline for Long Thanh International Airport and Long Thanh Water Highway, the units will review and register the time of commencement of implementation with the Provincial People's Committee.
