Even after the free period, the cost of charging the EC Van is still more economical than the cost of fuel. Specifically, a full charge of the 17 kWh battery costs just over 65,000 VND, for a distance of 150 km. Thus, on average, the cost of charging electricity is only nearly 2 million VND per month - less than half the fuel cost of a gasoline vehicle of the same type.

The vehicle is also warranted for 5 years or 130,000 km, the battery is warranted for 7 years or 160,000 km - a policy higher than the average for commercial vehicles.
