Weather forecast October 30, 2023: Heavy rain in Central region, focusing on Quang Tri

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from early this morning (October 30) to tomorrow night, the area from Southern Nghe An to Binh Dinh will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain with total rainfall from 80-200mm, in some places over 270mm.

In particular, from South Nghe An to Quang Binh, the rainfall from 4am this morning to 7am on November 1st was generally at 80-170mm, with some places over 250mm. Notably, during the same period, from Quang Tri to Binh Dinh, the rainfall increased more strongly with 100-200mm, with some places over 280mm.

In addition, today and tonight, in the areas of Northern Nghe An, Phu Yen , the Central Highlands, and the South, there will be showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40mm, in some places over 80mm.

During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind, flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes. Localized heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas.

The meteorological agency forecasts that heavy rain in the North and Central Central regions is likely to last until about November 1.

The weather in Hanoi today has less rain, the highest temperature increased by 1 degree compared to yesterday, but at night and early morning the lowest temperature is only about 21-23 degrees, the weather is chilly.

Da Nang to Binh Thuan

In the North, it will be cloudy with moderate to heavy rain, some places will be very heavy and scattered thunderstorms. In the South, it will be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Light wind. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees; in the North, some places below 29 degrees.

Central Highlands

Cloudy, sunny during the day; scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening, locally heavy rain; scattered showers and thunderstorms at night. Light wind. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Lowest temperature: 20-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 29-32 degrees.

Southern Vietnam

Lowest temperature: 23-26 degrees. Highest temperature: 33-33 degrees, some places above 33 degrees.

Hanoi

Cloudy, no rain during the day, occasional rain at night. Northeast wind level 2-3.

Lowest temperature: 21-23 degrees. Highest temperature: 26-28 degrees.
