PSG is on the threshold of history to complete the great "treble", an achievement that no French club has ever achieved.
After dominating the domestic league with Ligue 1 and the French Cup (beating Reims 3-0 in the final), the Champions League trophy was the final piece of the puzzle for a perfect season.
Under the guidance of Luis Enrique, PSG have been playing a free-flowing, efficient and varied style of attacking football. Their journey to Munich has been equally convincing, having overcome English giants Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal.
In contrast to their opponents, Inter Milan entered the final as a "veteran" in this prestigious arena.
Inter Milan have lifted the European Cup three times in 1964, 1965 and most recently the historic treble under coach Jose Mourinho in 2010.
However, the current season has not gone quite as planned for coach Simone Inzaghi and his team. After dreaming of a treble at the end of April, Inter were unexpectedly eliminated by rivals AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals and bitterly watched Napoli win Serie A with just one point more.
The Champions League is now the only way for the blue-black striped team to avoid a trophyless season. At the same time, it also eases the pain of losing the 2023 final to Man City.
However, no one can underestimate the bravery and experience of Inter Milan. They demonstrated a masterful tactical style, full of discipline and efficiency. An impressive 4-3 victory after two matches against Bayern Munich. And especially the breathtaking "shootout" to eliminate Barca with a total score of 7-6 in the semi-finals.
Despite being underestimated in the previous rounds against Bayern and Barca, Inter have proven how dangerous they are, and the memory of the defeat in Istanbul two years ago is certainly a great motivation for captain Lautaro Martinez and his teammates to be determined to "take revenge".

An interesting detail is that this will be the first time PSG and Inter Milan will meet each other in an official match in the European arena. This adds to the surprise and unpredictability of the final.
Based on expert assessments and current form, PSG is considered slightly better. The attacking power with stars like Ousmane Dembele and Kvaratskhelia and the solidity of the defense led by Marquinhos are solid supports.
Meanwhile, Inter will rely on experience, scientific counter-attacking style of play and the ability to shine of individuals like Lautaro Martinez or "conductor" Hakan Calhanoglu.
Bookmakers also give PSG a handicap of half a goal for Inter in the first half and the whole match. The over/under ratio is 2.5 goals for the whole match (one goal in the first half). This is a completely understandable number and is considered very practical.
Sportmole 's computer data also rates PSG as having a higher winning rate of 48.26% and Inter only 28.43%.
Expected lineup:
PSG: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Neves; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.
Inter Milan: Sommer; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Mkhitaryan, Calhanoglu, Barella, Dimarco; Thuram, Martinez.
Score prediction: PSG win 1-0 in the first half and win 2-1 on aggregate.
