Tourists enjoy checking in with Ty wearing Ao Dai at Tet Book Street

On the morning of the 29th of Tet, many people in Ho Chi Minh City flocked to the At Ty Tet Book Street Festival on Le Loi Street (District 1) to enjoy spring. Many visitors were delighted and amazed by the cute appearance of this year's festival mascot.

The organizing committee and the art council have chosen the technology snake as the mascot of the 2025 Tet Book Street Festival, with the expectation of bringing an intelligent, talented and sharp image, along with the traditional ao dai, expressing the beauty of knowledge and culture of the Vietnamese people.

The 2025 Tet Book Street Festival has an area of ​​11,200m², attracting 22 participating units, creating many unique cultural and artistic spaces. The festival also brings nearly 68,000 copies of books to the people.

More than 166 exchange and interaction programs, fun activities and experiences will take place throughout the festival, with the highlight being a series of exchange programs by reading culture ambassadors and authors who won the 2024 National Book Award.

The book stalls are meticulously decorated and arranged, attracting many visitors to come and view and choose books.

In the joyful spring atmosphere, people eagerly search for their favorite books.

"I am very happy to have chosen a book to read in the new year. I went to the book street this Tet not only to buy books for myself, but also to buy gifts for my family members," Minh Chau (16 years old, Cu Chi) shared.

"Every year, I take my children to choose books at the Tet Book Street Festival. I find this event not only beneficial for my children but also an opportunity for my family to get closer together," said Manh Linh (35 years old).

Many experiential spaces for locals and tourists to enjoy at the Book Street Festival during the New Year.

In particular, a large number of rare and valuable books will be displayed and introduced to the public at the book fair. Among them, there are unique books printed on unique paper materials.

The festival takes a prominent place to introduce to the people of Ho Chi Minh City the works, New Year poems, and articles of President Ho Chi Minh and to display documents, images, and works of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The 2025 Tet Book Street Festival of Ho Chi Minh City with the theme " Brocade and flower country, happy spring " opened on December 28 and will last until the 5th day of Tet to serve the sightseeing needs of people and tourists.
