For the past few days, Ms. Nguyen Hai Phuong in Ha Tinh City, Ha Tinh Province has been anxiously waiting for the exam scores and admission scores for grade 10 in Ha Tinh for the 2024-2025 school year. Her son registered his first choice at Ha Tinh Specialized High School - a school with high admission scores in Ha Tinh.

Ms. Phuong said: "My son registered his first choice at Ha Tinh Specialized High School, the number of candidates registering for this school is quite large. After the exam, my son said he did well on the test, so I gave him a reward. However, even though I went out, my heart was heavy, anxiously waiting every day for the announcement of the exam results and the school's admission scores."

Speaking with Dan Viet reporter, Mr. Phan Khac Nghe - Vice Principal of Ha Tinh Specialized High School said: "This year, nearly 1,100 students registered for the entrance exam to Ha Tinh Specialized School, however, only 425 students were admitted to 17 classes at the school.

According to the assessment, this year's exam scores have a strong differentiation, so it is difficult to predict the correct admission scores for specialized schools as well as public high schools. Although the exam scores are available, students still have time to review the exam. Some students apply to many schools or pass but do not attend classes, so it is not possible to predict the admission scores yet.

Mr. Phan Huu Quyen - Vice Principal of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, Duc Tho District, Ha Tinh said: "In the 2024-2025 school year, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai School has more than 500 students registering for the 10th grade entrance exam. Last year, the admission score was 18.5 points, this year the school has a target of accepting 460 students, the predicted admission score is about 17 to 19 points".

The entrance exam for grade 10 of non-specialized high schools and Ha Tinh Specialized High Schools for the 2024-2025 school year will take place on June 6 and 7, 2024 with nearly 19,000 candidates registering for the exam, of which nearly 1,100 students registered for Ha Tinh Specialized High School.

According to the plan of the Department of Education and Training, in the 2024-2025 school year, Ha Tinh Specialized High School will enroll 13 classes, including: 2 Math classes, 2 English classes; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT, Literature, History, Geography, French, Chinese, each subject has 1 class, each class has no more than 35 students. The enrollment target for public high schools is 70% of the number of candidates taking the exam.
