According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap province, during the 5-day holiday, tourist attractions in the whole province welcomed about 120,000 visitors, including 1,500 international visitors.
Notably, the relic sites attracted a large number of visitors. Of which, Go Thap relic site welcomed more than 6,000 visitors, an increase of 37%; Xeo Quyt relic site welcomed over 16,000 visitors.
On this occasion, many rural markets opened to welcome visitors, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to visit, eat and shop such as: Tan Thuan Dong rural market (4,500 visitors); Tan Thuan Tay night market (Cao Lanh city); Tram Chim rural market (Tam Nong district), rural market at Go Thap relic site and My Dong commune rural market (Thap Muoi district); Ray hamlet market (Cao Lanh district); rural market at Co May rose garden (Sa Dec city, attracting 5,000 visitors).
According to the management board of Tan Thuan Dong rural market, the number of visitors during the holiday week increased sharply, with estimated revenue reaching nearly VND500,000 million. This includes revenue from stalls, boats picking up tourists, parking, fees for visiting fruit gardens, amateur music activities, and boat racing.

However, Sa Dec flower village is deserted, the number of visitors has decreased sharply compared to the same period on April 30 and May 1 in 2024.
Mr. Pham Van Nhut - owner of Duyen Nhut tourist area (Tan Khanh Dong commune, Sa Dec city, Dong Thap province) said that during the recent holiday, the tourist spot only welcomed a few hundred visitors, with some days only having 50 visitors.
Similarly, the Tu Ton rose garden tourist attraction (Sa Dec city) also saw a sharp decrease of about 70% compared to the same period last year.
"The number of visitors has decreased for unknown reasons, but I think it is partly due to the long holiday, visitors choose long-term tourist destinations, along with the parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day held in Ho Chi Minh City, which also attracted a large number of visitors," said Ms. Duong Hao, the owner of the tourist destination.
According to the Sa Dec City Department of Culture, the total number of visitors in 5 days is estimated at about 15,000, down 67%, with revenue of more than 5 billion VND; the room occupancy rate for accommodation services is only 18.1% compared to the same period last year.
