4. Things to note when you want to conquer Moc Chau plum blossom season

  • To have a complete Moc Chau trip, visitors need to pay attention to clothing and equipment. The weather in the highlands is often cold and foggy, so prepare a warm windproof jacket, gloves, scarves and especially anti-slip walking shoes. If you want to have beautiful photos, you should bring a wide-brimmed hat and choose clothes in colors that harmonize with the landscape such as white or pastel.
  • In terms of schedule, the ideal time to start a new day is from 4 am, when the morning dew still covers the space. Avoid traveling after 6 pm because the mountain roads are difficult to travel and the weather is changeable. It is recommended to rent a car with a local driver and travel in groups of 3-4 people to ensure safety.
  • Regarding accommodation, you should book at least 1-2 weeks in advance, especially on weekends. Homestays near flower viewing spots cost from 300,000-800,000 VND/night, so bring all your personal belongings because many places do not have enough amenities.
  • Finally, always remember to respect the landscape and the local people. Do not climb or break branches, keep a safe distance from bees when taking photos, bring trash bags and dress appropriately when entering villages.

Traveling to Moc Chau to see plum blossoms not only leaves visitors with beautiful moments of nature, but is also a journey to awaken the soul, where each person finds peace in the midst of the highland sky.
