On September 2, Tan Son Nhat International Airport announced that it planned to operate 725 flights to and from the airport, including 693 passenger flights. The total number of passengers passing through the airport was approximately 110,000, including nearly 27,000 domestic departures and more than 37,000 domestic arrivals.
At domestic terminals T1 and T3 in the morning, many check-in counters of Vietnam Airlines , Vietjet and Bamboo Airways were quite clear, with no congestion.
On September 2, there are expected to be 219 domestic flights through Tan Son Nhat airport with tens of thousands of passengers.

In addition to the airport, many tourist areas and entertainment spots in Ho Chi Minh City such as Suoi Tien, Dam Sen, Cu Chi Tunnels, Ben Thanh Market, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office and museums are all crowded with visitors during the holiday. Dam Sen Cultural Park alone said it is expected to welcome about 10,000 visitors during the 4-day holiday.
Suoi Tien tourist area organizes many art activities, festival parades, and brilliant check-in spaces, attracting a large number of tourists who do not travel far this time. Cu Chi tunnels relic site also recorded an increase in the number of visitors, many families choose to visit with historical experiences.

Travel companies said the four-day holiday, coinciding with the change of seasons, would facilitate short domestic tours and short international itineraries. Vietravel expects to serve about 70,000 customers across its system, with families and friends preferring 2-4 day tours with convenient travel and full-service packages.
In the international market, many Vietnamese tourist groups traveling to Europe and Northeast Asia on this occasion, shine with scarves and shirts of the red flag with yellow star to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Vietluxtour Company recorded that the number of individual tourists joining groups and international tourists in Ho Chi Minh City increased by about 35% compared to the same period last year.
In addition to long-term tours, many tourists choose air tickets, car rentals, and room bookings to destinations near Ho Chi Minh City such as the West, Da Lat, Vung Tau, and Phan Thiet.
