On the evening of September 1, the streets around 29-3 Square ( Da Nang City) were crowded with vehicles. The closer it got to the time the water music stage started, the more crowded it became.

Right at the time the music started, many tourists gathered around to enjoy the water music or check-in to capture beautiful moments.

Mr. Dang Huu Duc (living in Hue City) shared: "Before my family went to Da Nang to celebrate the holiday, I asked relatives here and was introduced to the 29-3 Square in the evening. The square is very beautifully built, especially the sparkling water music floor, so impressive with the light, color, music and water blending together."

On August 30, 2024, the People's Committee of Da Nang City inaugurated the project to upgrade and restore the City Monument and renovate and expand 29-3 Square.

The project to upgrade and renovate the City Monument and expand the 29-3 Square has a total investment of more than 212 billion VND from the city budget and socialized sources; construction will start in 2022 and be divided into 2 phases.

Phase 1 upgrades the City Monument, renews the bas-relief; renovates the landscape, yard, and lighting system.

Phase 2 construction of technical infrastructure and landscape around the memorial and square with the highlight being the artistic fountain floor.

Previously, although 29-3 Square was still under construction, it always attracted a large number of people to come and enjoy. Especially in the evening, thousands of people came here to wait to experience the artistic water fountain system.

29-3 Square has become an attractive destination, even at midnight people still jostle to see the water music show...
