French cruise ship carrying 150 luxury guests visits Phu Quoc

The cruise ship Le Jacques Cartier (France) carrying 150 guests from France, the US, the UK... just visited the pearl island of Phu Quoc, Kien Giang .
This cruise ship departed from Sihanoukville (Kingdom of Cambodia) and docked at Phu Quoc port at 7am for tourists to visit the pearl island. The cruise ship then traveled to Con Dao, Ho Chi Minh City before returning to France. Mr. Huynh Thanh Binh, Head of Le Jacques Cartier Cruise Operations, said that 150 guests on the super yacht were luxury guests, of which French guests accounted for more than 70%. High-class French guests are quite fond of exploring the sea and islands of Vietnam. Phu Quoc is a new market for French cruise ships. It is expected that in the near future, there will be many French cruise ships bringing guests to Phu Quoc for fun. In the immediate future, by the end of 2024, there will be 2 luxury cruise ships carrying French guests to Phu Quoc.

In Phu Quoc, the tourist group visited and explored Ham Ninh fishing village, enjoyed the specialties of the fishing village, especially Ham Ninh crab; visited Phu Quoc Prison; Ho Quoc Pagoda... before returning to the super yacht in the afternoon of the same day. Mr. Huynh Quang Hung, Chairman of Phu Quoc City People's Committee informed that in addition to air and high-speed trains, recently, many international tourists have come to Phu Quoc by sea cruise ship. The locality has high expectations for sea cruise and yacht tourism in the new year 2024 from markets such as Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand... and some European countries. "Phu Quoc International Passenger Port has been completing many items and is expected to be put into temporary operation in 2024 to welcome luxury international tourists to the island for sightseeing and shopping. Phu Quoc will focus on doing a good job of security, order, and environmental sanitation; encourage tourism businesses to continuously improve product quality, develop new, unique, diverse and classy tourism products as well as have promotional programs to attract more visitors," said Mr. Hung.
