• ENCOURAGING RESULTS

In 2024, with the participation of the entire political system from the district to the grassroots level, the development of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance in the district has achieved certain results: all targets have been met and exceeded the assigned targets of the Provincial People's Committee; propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance have been actively implemented, thereby raising people's awareness of the benefits of participating in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance.

According to the report of Duc Trong District Social Insurance, in 2024, the number of people participating in social insurance reached 14,042 people, exceeding 1% of the plan, an increase of 1,158 people compared to 2023. Of which, the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance was 2,259 people. The social insurance coverage rate reached 12.4% of the workforce, exceeding the target assigned by the province by 0.12%. The health insurance coverage rate reached 94% of the population, exceeding the target assigned by the province by 0.7%.

The updating, standardization, synchronization, and authentication between the national database (CSDLQG) on insurance and the national database on population reached 99.07%... contributing to ensuring social security in the locality, making people's lives better, gradually improving the quality of life, especially for low-income people; at the same time, contributing to completing the economic and social development goals of the locality.

These results show a positive change in the awareness of leaders at all levels, people and businesses about the role of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. The propaganda and dissemination of policies have been effectively implemented, contributing to raising people's awareness of their rights and responsibilities when participating in insurance.

• CONSTANT EFFORT

In addition to the achieved results, Duc Trong district still has some challenges in developing social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance. Specifically: The rate of people participating in health insurance in some communes has not reached the target, the sustainability of insurance participation is not high, the propaganda skills of some agency staff are still limited...

To overcome these limitations, at the meeting to summarize the work of social insurance and health insurance in 2024 and deploy the work in 2025, the People's Committee of Duc Trong district assigned departments, offices, units, and People's Committees of communes and Lien Nghia town to focus on directing and implementing a number of key tasks. In particular, the District Health Department was assigned to preside over and coordinate with the district Social Insurance agency, the Department of Home Affairs, departments, offices, and units to coordinate with the district Social Insurance agency, relevant agencies and units, and the People's Committees at the commune level to implement the above plan and guide the People's Committees of communes and towns to organize the implementation of the development targets of social insurance, health insurance, and voluntary social insurance in the area.

Assign the District Social Insurance to coordinate with the Department of Health, Department of Home Affairs and related units to advise the District People's Committee to assign targets for developing social insurance and health insurance participants to communes and towns; preside over and coordinate with agencies, units, departments, branches, unions and People's Committees of communes and towns to effectively implement the 2025 plan. Proactively advise and propose to the District People's Committee solutions to develop social insurance and health insurance participants during the implementation process.

Effectively apply information technology, use citizen identification cards to participate in medical examination and treatment to achieve the goal of completing the use of electronic medical records... Organize a campaign to develop social insurance and health insurance participants in April 2025.

The District Department of Home Affairs, Education and Training coordinates with the District Department of Health, Social Insurance and related units to advise the District People's Committee to assign targets for developing social insurance and voluntary social insurance participants to communes and towns.

Coordinate with the district Social Insurance, relevant agencies and units and the People's Committees of communes and towns to disseminate and popularize policies and laws on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance to employers and employees at units and enterprises, focusing on disseminating the role, significance and benefits of participating in social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance. Strengthen inspection and examination of social insurance and health insurance payments at enterprises and employers to ensure the rights of employees; strictly handle violations of the law on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance.

Department of Culture, Science and Information; District Culture - Information and Sports Center coordinate with District Social Insurance and related units to innovate the content and form of propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws on social insurance and health insurance to help people understand the necessity, humanity and benefits of participating in social insurance and health insurance, promote communication work on social insurance, health insurance and voluntary social insurance policies; increase broadcasting time on mass media; create reports and video clips to serve the propaganda work, mobilize people to participate in social insurance, health insurance and voluntary social insurance...

With the determination of the authorities at all levels and the consensus of the people, Duc Trong district aims to complete and exceed the development targets of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in 2025 and the following years. Thereby, contributing to building a strong social security system, ensuring a stable and happy life for the people.
