On September 12, the area that collapsed was fenced off by the People's Committee of Loc Tien Ward, prohibiting traffic. People were informed to change direction to ensure safety.
Two afternoons ago, when it was raining heavily, the road leading to the resettlement area of residential group 3 collapsed. A 30 meter section of the road broke, causing rocks, soil, and asphalt to fall down into the low-lying area below.
Next to it, a crack on the road stretched for dozens of meters. There were no vehicles on the road at the time of the landslide, so there were no casualties.

The landslide-affected road was put into use nearly 8 years ago. Bao Loc City authorities are reviewing the residential area to assess the impact of the landslide before coming up with a solution.
Landslides and subsidence have occurred frequently in Lam Dong recently, especially after heavy and prolonged rains. On July 30, rocks and soil from Bao Loc Pass flooded down and buried the Madagui traffic police station, killing four people, including three soldiers. According to statistics, there are still 163 landslide-prone and at-risk locations in the province.
