On the Hanoi-Vinh route, in addition to the regular NA1/2 trains, there will be 5 additional NA3 trains (August 29-30), NA4 trains (August 31-September 1) and NA8 trains (September 2).

The Hanoi-Thanh Hoa route will have 8 additional trips with TH1/TH2 trains running on August 30, August 31, September 1 and September 2. The Hanoi-Dong Hoi route will have 2 additional QB1 trains (August 29) and QB2 trains (September 1). The Hanoi- Hai Phong route, in addition to the 4 regular train pairs, is expected to have 4 additional trains.

The Saigon-Quy Nhon route will increase a total of 12 trips, including: train SE30 (from August 28 to September 1), train SE29 (from August 29 to September 2), train SQN2 (August 29) and train SQN1 (September 2).

In addition, the Railway sector also set up two separate trains to transport about 1,200 soldiers from Hanoi to Tam Ky and Saigon on September 3 after completing their duties at the parade.

During the time when Hanoi city closes the road to serve the activities of the 80th National Day Anniversary, traveling to Hanoi Station may be difficult. The Railway industry recommends that passengers arrive at Hanoi Station at least 60 minutes before the train departs to ensure they do not miss their train. Hanoi Station will open an additional gate to welcome passengers at Gate No. 1 Tran Quy Cap to facilitate travel.

Passengers should proactively plan their travel to avoid areas with traffic restrictions; regularly monitor information about routes and road closure times to arrive early to avoid congestion: 11:30-3:00 from August 21 to August 22; 15:00-3:00 from August 24 to August 25; 15:00-3:00 from August 27 to August 28; 18:00-15:00 from August 29 to August 30; 18:00-15:00 from September 1 to September 2./.
