Railway organizes train running on Northern route

Saigon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company informed that this unit organizes North-South train operation after summer, with many policies to reduce ticket prices up to 30% to attract passengers to travel by train during the low season.

Accordingly, from September 6, the organization will run two unified train pairs SE3/SE4, SE7/SE8 on the Saigon - Hanoi station route. For the Saigon - Da Nang station route, the train pair SE21/SE22 will run until September 17.

Saigon - Nha Trang station route, from September 6, train SNT2 departs from Saigon station every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; train SNT1 departs from Nha Trang station every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route, from September 6, will run the SPT1/SPT2 pair of trains every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

In addition to preferential ticket discount policies for policy beneficiaries such as the elderly, children, students, union members, etc., the railway applies many train ticket discount programs to attract train passengers.

Specifically, for trains SE3/SE4, SE7/SE8 with tickets for a travel distance of over 900km, trains SE21/SE22 with tickets for a travel distance of over 600km, trains SNT1/SNT2 with tickets for a travel distance of over 300km, passengers who purchase tickets 5-9 days before departure will receive a 5% discount on ticket prices.

Similarly, 10-19 days in advance get 10% discount; 20-39 days in advance get 20% discount; 40 days or more in advance get 30% discount. However, this discount program does not apply to 4-berth cabins on trains SE3, SNT1, SNT2.

Passengers who buy tickets for the Saigon - Phan Thiet route on the SPT1/SPT2 trains 10 days or more in advance will receive a 10% discount on the ticket price, but this does not apply to 4-bed cabin seats.

Passengers who buy round-trip tickets on trains receive a 10% discount on return tickets, provided that the return ticket has the same departure and arrival stations as the outbound ticket.
