Etihad Airways opens direct flight from Hanoi to Abu Dhabi

Etihad Airways' first flight from Abu Dhabi to Hanoi landed on November 2, marking a milestone in expanding its global network and connecting commercial travel between Vietnam and the UAE.

On November 2, 2025, the first flight of Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi officially landed at Noi Bai International Airport ( Hanoi ), marking an important expansion milestone in the airline's record growth year. This is also a new step in the global network development strategy, contributing to strengthening the connection between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Hanoi - Abu Dhabi route is operated by the modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner, one of the most fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly aircraft in the world .

This airline's business class has won many international awards.

Etihad flies 6 times a week from Hanoi via Abu Dhabi - the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Neves also affirmed that Hanoi is a symbol of the vitality and diversity of Asia, and Etihad wishes to strengthen the connection between Vietnam and the UAE not only in tourism but also in the fields of trade and cultural exchange.

With a frequency of 6 flights/week, passengers have more convenient options when coming to Abu Dhabi for business or leisure. The UAE capital is known for its unique architectural works such as Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Louvre Abu Dhabi museum, world-class resorts and a series of vibrant sports and cultural events throughout the year.
