Eximbank sponsors 5 billion VND to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ho Chi Minh City

(Dan Tri) - Eximbank donated 5 billion VND to the program "City Banking Sector joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ho Chi Minh City" to build and repair 75 houses for poor, near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances.

The program is part of the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025" launched by the Prime Minister . The banking sector of Ho Chi Minh City has coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to implement the goal of eliminating 300 temporary houses in the locality. The participation of Eximbank and other banks at the event is an important part, contributing to accelerating the progress of this goal.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Acting General Director of Eximbank (far left) and representatives of banks signed a cooperation agreement with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to implement the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ho Chi Minh City".

The funding will be allocated to build and repair houses for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households, helping them stabilize their lives. Each house is not only a new place to live, but also brings hope, opening up a brighter future for households. Stable housing helps people reduce the burden of housing, thereby focusing on economic development and improving the quality of life.

Previously, Eximbank also donated VND10 billion to the program "Warm home for my people", aiming to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide. The program aims to eliminate more than 153,000 temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025, helping poor and near-poor households have stable, safe and sustainable housing.
