The third "Vietnam International Photography Festival" in 2025 will take place in Hue city

On April 16, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued Decision 1045/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing the third "Vietnam International Photography Festival" - Hue 2025.

After the success of the first "Vietnam International Photography Festival" in Ninh Binh province and the second "Vietnam International Photography Festival" in Binh Thuan province, which created good impressions and results, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to assign the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hue city and related agencies and units to organize the third "Vietnam International Photography Festival" in 2025 in Hue city.

This is also one of the activities to implement the content and plan approved by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in the Project to Build and Promote the National Brand "Vietnam International Photography Festival" for the period 2020 - 2030.

Through the third "Vietnam International Photography Festival" in 2025, continue to build a brand for Vietnamese photography; contribute to promoting the beautiful image of the country and people of Vietnam, enhance international exchanges through photography activities. At the same time, contribute to enriching the activities of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025; collect and enrich the photo collection for Hue, serving to promote Hue culture and tourism.

The third "Vietnam International Photography Festival" - Hue 2025 will take place with many attractive activities such as: Organizing photo exchanges and creations in Hue city: Expected to invite 30 domestic and international photographers for a period of 07 days. Organizing the photo exhibition "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" (3rd time) in Hue city. Expected to exhibit 200 photos, for 10 days in the center of Hue city; Organizing the award ceremony and opening of the photo exhibition "Vietnam through the lens of international photographers" (3rd time) in Hue city, expected to invite 300 guests to attend, awarding 20 equal prizes... along with other response activities (if any) organized by agencies and units.

Therefore, to ensure the good organization of activities, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism requires relevant agencies to have close and effective coordination. In addition, it is necessary to create the interest of the public, domestic and foreign photographers, this is an opportunity to help Hue tourism increasingly affirm its brand and position on the domestic and international tourism map. /.
